VapairVent works Zipwall Pole. You supply the Zipwall pole which is available at Industry Supply Houses. Remove the bottom rubber foot cap from Zipwall pole. Extend the pole so the black plastic plug moves into pole, allowing you to insert the Vent Hood stem into the pole. Secure ducting onto the Vent Hood prior to placing Vent Hood on the pole. Extend the Vent Hood, using the Zipwall pole, to cover the exhaust outlet in the bathroom or laundry area, etc… You have 1-25” x 8” ducting that can be used on the intake of the booster fan. This allows you to duct from the drying area to the booster fan and then use the 6” mylar ducting to the Vent Hood. Advantage of this is you don’t have to have the booster fan in the drying area or containment. You can easily use 75’ of ducting per booster fan. You can also place the booster fan inside the drying area and use the 2-25’ x 6” ducting to vent to the Vent Hood. The ringed mylar ducting can be connected together by squeezing one of the duct ends while inserting the ducting into another piece of ducting. The rings will expand inside the other ducting and hold it in place. This eliminates the need for clamps. Turn the exhaust fan on. Then turn on the booster fan by plugging it in. There is no on and off switch. You should realize 100-175+cfm being expelled from the building by the VapairVent. Venting out the dryer ducting or a window, etc… is also acceptable using the VapairVent system. The VapairVent system will compare in moisture removal to a large dehumidifier while using less than 1/3 of an Amp on 120v. We recommend you charge a rental rate according to moisture removal performance ($90-$120 per day). Many jobs it is a challenge getting enough electricity to hookup all the air-movers and dehumidifiers you need. The VapairVent can be priceless in these conditions. Booster fan, Vent hood, 25’ of 8” ducting & 50’ of 6” ducting come with the VapairVent package. |
